Thanks everyone.

We have not booked a ticket. He will stay thru Ramadan and to finish some work.

I do have one question/concern....his visa says it expires Nov 18, 2006. What happened to the 6 months you are supposed to get???? Do I need to call Casa and have this fixed?

It sounds like they issued the visa back in May when they first called you to go pick it up. What the hell have they been doing then?? :ranting:

I think K1 is only 3 months, not 6. Normally that means you'll have 90 days after he gets it to marry and file for AOS. November 18 means they issued the freaking visa on August 18th but just called him now! That's F$%*ed up!

The K1 visa itself is supposed to be valid for 6 months after issue. Meaning you have six months before you must use it to enter the US. It sounds like they royally screwed up.
