My fiancee had her bro in law as a co-sponsor on interview CO asked to arrange another co-sponsor due to the insufficient yearly income

with that my fiancee's ex husband jointly filed with her 2010 IRS so he presented it on interview so i got a call from Embassy asking to Provide 2009 2010 and 2011 IRS Tax Return and i explained the guy that my fiancee has been unemployed for 3-4 Years but he said no matter she isn't working she can still get IRS tax Return that is not True so my fiancee decided to get 2009 and 2010 IRS tax return which she filed Jointly with her ex husband will send those to embassy and then she called IRS and they said you can file for IRS even though u r not working for 2011 but without any income just to show the CO so my question is am i sending the accurate documents or making any mistakes 2 years Jointly filed with ex husband and one year will be applied without any income thanks
