Horses are herbivores. They cannot digest meat. In other words, meat would just 'pass through' without actually absorbing any nutrients. However, some horses will in fact, eat a cheeseburger. That is because some probably like the different taste. A friend recently offered my horse her club sandwich and all he would eat was the bread.

Actually killing horses for meat isn't a new thing. It has happened for years. I have seen the meat buyers at the auctions. Their horse of choice, injured race horses. Younger meat, fairly lean, usually good meat yield per animal.

The only reason we still don't eat humans is because of kuru (look it up). However there is a substitute called hufu, look that up also. Ironically hufu can be found in vegetarian markets.

If you think about it a horse is no different then a cow, deer, moose, karabo, zebra, goat, or sheep. Which all taste yummy. Your just adding emotion to the mix.
