Wow when we left for PI it was warm and humid. Of course it was worse in PI. No wonder my wife does not want to live in PI anymore. Well we get back home and it is cold now. My wife is wearing socks in the house, and even I have to turn on the heater in the car. I guess it could be worse. On a good note the trip went well, my wife and mom went crazy shopping in Manila, my parents met my in-laws in Laoag City, and we went to see the rice terraces in Banue.

Okay now.. you live in Hawaii and you are saying it is cold there? ok

Temps are dipping down into the 30s here at night and that has the furnace coming on, but I don't say that too loudy or my sister in Minnesota will chime in...

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Yeah it not that cold, but for a Filipina it sure is. Hank_Amy, do you live in Tuscon. My Dad's older brother lives there.

Yup I live in Tucson. Wonder how Amy will do with the weather here as it is hotter in the summer and colder in the winter...

My buddy married a gal from the Phillipens and she just came over here about 5 - 6 months ago. He has a house in Vegas and she said it was way too hot for her in the summer, so now he's renting out the house and he just found an apt. for them in Glendale, CA.
