I must have missed it reading this site. I can't figure out how you get the NVC left and consulate received dates. What are people inputting into their timelines?

I vaguely recall somebody mentioning getting a DHL tracking number from the NVC to their consulate, but that seems suspect to me - why would they even release this?

I got the arrived date by phoning NVC. Same place I also got the left for consulate date, after nearly 8 weeks.

And they don't release DHL tracking numbers. What people are doing is checking the DHL website, and seeing packages, which may or may not be theirs, going to the country where the other party waits.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
