"CHEATING" checking your visa status

If you set up an account in I-129 Petition for Fiance(e) https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do of course you can check your status each day.

Example your number is EAC1190276990 I just checked EAC1190276971 which shows completed and they are now working on EAC1190276972 and up... so each day you can track others peoples status and see where your status is..

Really not cheating - just a way to track your visa application better..

Hope this helps : )

It's a good idea but it's just not realistic because those numbers aren't ALL K1's.

For instance going by your example where the number is EAC1190276990 ---

EAC1190276987 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276988 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276989 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276990 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276991 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276992 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276993 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276994 - (K1) Initial review

EAC1190276995 - (??) RFE response

EAC1190276996 - (I-821) APPROVED

EAC1190276997 - (??) CARD PRODUCTION

EAC1190276998 - (I-821) DENIED

EAC1190276999 - (I-765) DECISION

EAC1190277000 - (I-821) Initial review

EAC1190277001 - (I-765) Initial Review

EAC1190277002 - (??) Card DELIVERED, Aug 29, 2011

EAC1190277003 - (??) Card DELIVERED, Aug 31, 2011

EAC1190277004 - (??) Card DELIVERED, Aug 29, 2011

So as you can see it doesn't matter what the number is. They process it when they process it. There's more than one officer. Lets say I pick up file 1, then someone picks up file 2 and so on to 50. Turns out #3 is missing document so we issue an RFE, #24 is denied so that's easy, #39 has a lot of paperwork to sort through... That can mean that 50 is approved before 3, 24, 39 and so on. The numbers help but they're not certain. I wouldn't waste my time. You'll drive yourself insane.

Yep! NOA-2 comes when it comes. If you don't like USCIS's processing guidelines you can always use the other company... Oops!

i like the basic idea of tracking close numbers. I am sure it is not an exact science but then you don't know the exact info submitted with the other applications. All it takes is some little thing to cause an application to take a short delay while some information is verified and the time table is all messed up but on the average and for showing trends it could provide useful information.

OMG are you kidding me all you non-believers :bonk: {I was just talking about NOA1 being approved} and maybe understand where your application may be in the process..

There is only two ways that I know of that gives you a 100% accuracy of your status on your application. 1) You receive notice by mail/email 2) Checking the website for an update.

ALL I WAS TRYING TO SAY, by checking lower EAC numbers and higher EAC numbers then your number you can "KIND" of get an ideal of where they may be in the NOA1 process.

FOR ME: Some lower EAC numbers and some higher EAC numbers have been resolved or notices sent. My application (NOA1) is being worked on at this moment, and I feel my method I should see an updated status on my application within the next 10 days..

Either I will be right or come back to post I was WRONG...

So what happens when you see a petition with a higher number than yours is approved and yours is still in the "initial review" status?

Or when other petitioners already have their visa and their status shows on USCIS.Gov as initial review?

Knock yourself out and track all the petitons on the site, but ultimately you will need Xanax for your efforts.

I'm not trying to disuade you from your effort if it helps you to pass the time but you will NOT find what you are seeking by perusing other petition case numbers on the USCIS site.

Don't forget the ultra lucky people who got approved in two weeks flat... first come first served.... riiiiighhhhhttttt.....

I'm sure some people are interested in these numbers, and feel like it would pass the time.

But my "passing the time" is IMing/emailing/skyping my fiance and spending our time "together" though we're apart. And the NOA2 will come when it comes. ... Just saying.
