This is normal processing, shifting workloads from one type of Visa to another. I have heard that H1-B work Visas are more politically important for example. I am only 3 weeks ahead of you and I have a trip scheduled in January to meet the entire family. I'm fine with the current rate of processing but the first 3 weeks after filing the I-129f drove me crazy. That is when I said to myself, settle down... when it comes, it will come. I think they are starting to work on the last week in July next. I would bet that they are going to crank back up soon and I don't want to be unprepared for the NOA2 so I am getting organized for very soon. It will come very soon - be ready and use your last single days of your life wisely B-) !

Good luck to you and thanks for the executive summary !

Fortunately it is already almost Dec :) and the holidays should keep us busy :) I'm going to get a phone that has a Skype app so he can 'come with me' whilst we go Christmas Tree shopping hehe :)
