...no approvals today? Please tell me the wave of approvals at CSC is not over. I am so close...well at least by the numbers that were being put up recently. I was seeing August approvals and I am August 9th for NOA1. If CSC would keep at the pace of the last few weeks, everyone will get approved quicker.

Whatever was done to speed up the process before....can we do that again?? Well....unless it was because of the money that they had to use. But I thought someone said that ends in November.

Sheesh!!

With an August 9 NOA1 date you would probably be best to sit back and relax for a while (before Michelle and Icey and E&K and Mr. Lonely and ld&rd and all the other March/April people come after you!!!) Besides, a 6 week approval through CSC is unheard even under normal circumstances. Considering they are STILL cleaning up after IMBRA, you may be in a for quite a wait.

March, April, May, and June filers are still waiting to be approved. I'm also wanting to see the approvals start rolling in but I'm looking for March, April, and May approvals not August approvals. I'm not even looking for June approvals at this point (and I'm a June filer) because it's not my turn. I'm happy for people who are getting approved even if they filed in July but please have a little respect for everyone who filed before you and cheer on the approvals for them.

Oh don't get me wrong, I think the CSC is totally and completely screwed up in the order of approvals. I realize I am many weeks from my approval. But when I start seeing August approvals....you get some hope. You can't help but wonder if your approval will come sooner than expected.

And tell me how I can possibly control what CSC does and "Get back to the back of the queue"? The more approvals per week makes everyone's approval more imminent.

I wonder how many would pass up their approval to give it to someone who has been waiting longer? I wouldn't. I miss my girl so much. I would pay all the money, time, treasure...anything to get approved the fastest way possible.

please have a little respect for everyone who filed before you and cheer on the approvals for them.

Seriously people, I'm so happy for everyone getting approved, and I'm pissed for the people that havent been approved yet from March and after.

But I got this feeling when I read lately. I feel like this HUGE tension building up between the people from IMBRA and the people that filed with the new form ( including myself). That said. I DO think there is a lack of respect, but its coming from both ways. Telling the people that filed with the new form to back off is not much better, we all have this little hope somewhere when we see approvals happening.

I mean come on. We are not all in a line at the bank, telling the others to stay in the waiting line because we got there first, etc, etc. Its not us deciding who is gonna be next. Saying to wait our turn is like beyond anybody's power. If there is 2 different department working on the IMBRA and New form, I dont even think that both case can be related at all. Its not the same waiting line. Its not the same way to treat the data that they receive. I dont care about myself if i get approved sooner or later, I started this process with a long waiting time in my mind. And of course if i would see March, April, May and June people getting approved before me I would be more than happy because you guys all deserve it. But again I cant help it If the approvals keep going that way and if I get a approved in 60 days. Neither than the people from VSC can help it if they get it in 15 days.

I feel this tension everywhere when people ask about waiting time, or if anybody from their month got their NOA2 or whatever.

Afterall, we are all in the same boat, no matter what place was assigned to us. Im sick and tired of people whining about all that stuff. I like to be able to share with everybody here. But I feel like im gonna keep that NOA2 for myself if it happens just not to make people more "tense" about their own NOA2....

And im not searching for any war with anybody, but I REALLY feel that some people are getting rude as well about it...

My 2 (canadian) cents

Well I do think it IS all one waiting line but I think that's probably a separate issue. The fact is that CSC has ALWAYS been much slower than VSC so there's no comparison there. But when you consider that the whole IMBRA debacle has not yet been cleaned up, and how long some people have been waiting, it's pretty unrealistic to start thinking that an August filer is going to get an NOA2 in September. So rather than get your hopes up, it's a good idea to plan a wait of 3-5 months. If it comes early, it will be a big surprise. There is a lot of tension - but I think it has more to do with having unrealistic expectations than anything else.

I dont think that the results we see is unrealistic expectations. Its not just someones hope....duh

It IS a result.

That would only show that the case are treated separately, because they ARE different...

It IS 2 different forms.

I totally understand that people are fed up with the waiting, but doesnt mean that they can close their eyes on results that they dont want to see. Its there, no matter what you want to believe.

I'm a little confused by your post - have their recently been early August filers who have been approved from CSC? If so, this is definitely extremely unusual. Because this is not the norm, it just isn't wise for people to expect approvals in 6 weeks. This conclusion is based on the facts of what has transpired over the past six months. True, there are two separate forms. But that doesn't mean there are two separate groups within CSC handling them. In the end, my point was that the facts show that 6 week approvals are few and far between. Therefore, it would make sense to not plan on one. Pray/hope/wish/dream - sure. Again, it's extremely unlikely so if you plan on 3-5 months and it comes a lot sooner, won't that be nice?

Those are August NOA1 that were approved in September through CSC.
