Administrative Processing

my interview was march 10.2011 and CO. was asked to submit some documents and i submitted the documents and it was accepted on May 20, 2011. Now my question is when does my Administrative Processing start from March 10 or May 20. .... i m still waiting for my visa

please i need answer

It is a long time you should call to Embassy and ask them about your visa.

rafi... i specifically asked this of DOS just a week or two ago.. we also had to submit docs but ours were sent right away within a few days of our interview june 15th. The ap begings at interview BUT... i can tell you this... it takes time to review the docs at least a few weeks...ours took 5 weeks...I have seen it take months to accept new docs this could be the case with you......

then once they are satisfied with this THEN they do name checks... they won't do the name checks until evthing is settled .. they wont waste the time n effort if they are going to deny you anyway so that said.. count on your docs being accepted by the end of june and name checks beginning sometime in july/aug early.. if they did them.. they also may be looking at other things not just name checks... it wont be long for you im sure...

Call DOS and ask them for updates and what the dates were for updates... ask them if the fbi report has been finalized... two weeks ago we asked this and were told not yet still working on that...
