I have just been checking over the forms that we have sent in and noticed that on my G-325A that i filled in by hand because my computer was playing up..the part that asks for any previous names used i only filled this in on one of the forms instead of all 4...what difference will this make?

You probably will get an RFE... it depends on how picky the person looking at it is, but you should. Dont worry too much though, it doesnt add much time at all onto an approval if you get the paperwork sent back in straight away. If I were you, I would get it all ready NOW and then you can send it back that day if and when the RFE does come. Approvals come within weeks of an RFE normally.

You will probably get an RFE for it because the use of different names is quite important.

Just send back the corrected forms when you get your RFE and you'll be fine.

I disagree with the rest! I believe they do not look at all 4 copies; they just file them or discard them - you will get through without an RFE.

Rationale - no one has the kind of time to verify each and every piece of info on all the pages, let alone on 4 copies of one of the forms!

I am willing to bet a case of Ultra (just for fun of course.) Do let us know what happens! Good Luck

People have gotten RFE's for things a lot smaller than this, so it is a very real possibility. We think it is common sense to assume that what is written on one page should apply to duplicate copies but I don't think the Immigration Officers are allowed to assume, anything they aren't sure about they can send an RFE for. So, you might have an RFE, but at least it's easily fixable!! They don't usually delay the process too terribly long either.

I wouldnt call copies of a form used by another agency for security checks not important.

Yeah I thought the same thing. If they ask for it they obviously have a reason for needing it and all of the copies should agree with one another!

I thought each of the 4 copies went to a different area (there was a thread a while back where someone posted where they all went, but dayum if I can recall any 'real' info from it).

You may get an RFE, or the person initially handling the paperwork might just copy it over for you. Of course that would be nice, so who knows? LOL

Whichever it is, I hope it's sorted out quickly.
