I didn't think I was going to get nervous with this step. However now I am starting to panic thinking I don't have enough evidence.

I didn't think I was going to get nervous with this step. However now I am starting to panic thinking I don't have enough evidence.

I hear you there! I'm pretty comfortable with everything NOW, but until I spent several hours going over all of my documentation, writing a lengthy cover letter, composing affidavits and filling out the I-751 itself, I was crazy nervous too.

Now my only concern is that I moved fairly recently, and while I updated my address with USCIS both online and via mail, I received the ROC reminder letter from them to my OLD address a couple of weeks ago (forwarded to this address, thankfully). Hopefully, since everything on my I-751 has my current address, things will be okay.

Sent off ROC in September! I didnt think id be this nuts with the waiting... AOS was quick, im worried mine will take 6 months:( My GC expires on the 14th, a month ago i sent HR at my work a copy of my extension letter and a letter attached, I havent heard anything since but I have this feeling they will want something more than that come the day after my gc expires.

What can they do? E verify me? What if the system shows something different? All I can do is make infopass appointment for I 551 stamp? Really cannot afford a lapse in my job.

8 sept filers have already been approved....

I did not send affadavits with my package but a whole bunch of joint stuff and a pictures of us at our wedding and since then. My husband is military ive heard of people getting FBI interviews if their SO is military....

Ahhhck!!!!

Ya nervous about that! spoke to FBI guy on the phone during security screening for hubs clearance update but he ended up not fully interviewing me anyways! Ugh! lol he seemed more interested in the Xwife than the current wife oddly enough... I really hope you hear something soon or someone can answer the bit about the job stuff for you.

Other news i'm really really tired of the military hoolala back and forth omg this omg that. Hair is going gray, nails are chewed off to stubs lol moving one min not moving the next good god.. I emailed the Ombudsman and not 5 minutes later I had an email back saying he will be looking into the case. Slightly reassuring yes, was not expecting such a quick response back. Now looking forward to any kind of information they can give me when they get back to me. Even if its an RFE.

We sent off our packet in September. Check cashed, NOA received, and biometrics completed. I haven't heard anything since then!

I've been trying to keep it out of my mind. Not much we can do now- it's out of our hands. I didn't include any affidavits, mostly because I didn't want to inconvenience friends and family. If we end up with an RFE, it will be on the list of additional things to send in.

Wyatt- about the address thing, the same thing happened to me. We moved over a year ago, and I did the online address change and the mail in for the I-864, and they sent the notification to the old address. I've heard of that happening before ROC forum. Hopefully everything was recorded correctly.

Nice to see everyone is back! :)

Awesome! Congratulations!

Thx! its a HUGE weight off me now, no more worrying about military back and forth stuff.

Anyone else who is waiting long and not hearing anything email the ombudsman a nice email and maybe they can help out too, no harm in trying!
