I was wondering do you need to divulge things like migraines or a bit of insomnia if you are not on any medication or anything of that nature? Also, should I be preparing to get my medical history from my G.P, will they be needing that??

No they are more worried about communicable diseases and immunizations are up to date so migraines don't come under that category. You will be fine .

I guess so..that would make sense. I think I m just worried to make sure I say everything/anything so in case they refer back to my GP it doesn't look like I ve tried hiding anything...no matter how small, so would you say its better to just keep it simple?

Have you looked at form IV18a? Those are the things you need to reveal to them. If you have a history of some of those conditions you would need to provide medical records. But there are other things which are inconsequential, and they will see your explanation and not ask about it: for example many people will have been hospitalised and in most cases this won't be something they need to know more about.
