Text on NVC site

Hi VJers,

I just checked the status of my case on the State epartmen site and it says:

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error. "

Does anyone know what it means? Does it mean that my case is completed at NVC and being forwarded to the consulate???

I believe this might be the Sign In Failed message. Call NVC to make sure your case was closed

If you've sent in both packages, then getting the SIF message is a real good indication that your case is complete. Call up NVC asap and ask if your case is complete. Good luck!

And remember, your case is only forwarded to the consulate ONCE your interview date has been assigned. So it'll still be awhile for your case to be shipped.

Thanks for the responses, I have let my hubby know to call NVC. It's just our case has been in NVC since June 16, and it's really frustrating. Wish you all the best in life and good luck too
