I-129F Amendment Post Approval

Hello,

What would be the best thing to do if an I-129F and G-325 was missing a previously used legal name (Birth name), of course all subsequently submitted forms would have this information. This question is in regards to a application that has already been received by the embassy in the beneficiary's country.

I'm thinking about writing a letter to NVC, as well as, the embassy.

It is not material to the case but you can add or change it at the interview. If the previous MARRIAGE was not mentioned, that WOULD be material and you would have to include both the marriage and divorce documents associated with it. If it is just the NAME that was not mentioned then just add it at the interview.
