should i be very worried...had interview yesterday

..Hi guys,

yesterday we had our interview.we were scheduled for 1:30pm and we got called in around 1:40pm.then we were sworn in.

the IO was very friendly,she asked us very basic questions like ,name ,dob,where did u met,do u have plan to have kids.then she wanted to see some pics and took couple of them.And asked us to show her some assets together.we gave her some documents we have ,she didn't even looked at it in detail.she just said you recently got married so i don't expect too much joint assent together. then she said she got everything she needs for now and said if i need i will contact you and told us the interview is over.she also said she needs to review the case an we will get the decision in 120 days.

she didnt take my i-94 nor the ead.from what i read here,most people say IO will take the i-94 during the interview but mine didnt. should i be worried? did some one have experience like mine?

No reason to worry. That sounds like a normal interview. Not all IOs will approve on the spot or take your I-94. Nothing from your description of your interview sounds out of the ordinary or like there was any suspicion, so now you just wait. Ours was just like that and we got an approval notice about 10 days later though of course it is different for everyone.

08.25.2010 - NOA hard copies received (x4), case status available online: 765, 131, 130.
10.15.2010 - RFE received: need 2 additional photos for AP.
10.18.2010 - RFE response sent certified mail
10.21.2010 - Service request placed for biometrics
10.25.2010 - RFE received per USCIS
10.26.2010 - Text/email received - AP approved!
10.28.2010 - Biometrics appointment received, dated 10/22 - set for 11/19 @ 3:00 PM
11.01.2010 - Successful biometrics walk-in @ 9:45 AM; EAD card sent for production text/email @ 2:47 PM! I-485 case status now available online.
11.04.2010 - Text/Email (2nd) - EAD card sent for production
11.08.2010 - Text/Email (3rd) - EAD approved
11.10.2010 - EAD received
12.11.2010 - Interview letter received - 01.13.11
01.13.2011 - Interview - no decision on the spot
01.24.2011 - Approved! Card production ordered!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

11.02.2012 - Mailed I-751 packet to VSC
11.08.2012 - Checks cashed
11.10.2012 - NOA1 received, dated 11.06.2012
11.17.2012 - Biometrics letter received for 12.05.2012
11.23.2012 - Successful early biometrics walk-in

05.03.2013 - Approved! Card production ordered!

I had my interviw on July 20th, did got get approved on the spot and the IO did not take my I-94 nor EAD. Got the email about card production 2 days later on the 22nd, the the "valid from" date on my GC is actually the date of the interview.. So no reason to worry. Might take you a bit longer to hear back from them and of course the waiting is pure agony, but don't get all stressed out yet. If the interview seemed to go well, you probably have nothing to worry about.

03/11/2011 - Day 8 - NOA 1 received for all 4 forms

03/21/2011 - Day 18 - Biometrics letter received, biometrics scheduled for 04/14/2011

03/31/2011 - Day 28 - Successful walk-in biometrics done

05/12/2011 - Day 70 - EAD Arrived, issued on 05/02

06/14/2011 - Day 103 - E-mail notice: Interview letter mailed, interview scheduled for July 20th

07/20/2011 - Day 139 - Interview at Federal Plaza USCIS location

07/22/2011 - Day 141 - E-mail approval notice received (Card production)

07/27/2011 - Day 146 - 2nd Card Production Email received

07/28/2011 - Day 147 - Post-Decision Activity Email from USCIS

08/04/2011 - Day 154 - Husband returns home from abroad; Welcome Letter and GC have arrived in the mail

("Resident since" date on the GC is 07/20/2011

Thank you guys for your reply....its good to know other people experience.At least i know from you guys not every IO take the i-94 and EAD.The interview went fine it lasted for about 10-15 minutes.After she told us we will hear something in 120 days(20 days are very long,from the day we sent the package to the interview day it took us 67 days) ,i asked her if we need to be worried about our case she said "no".she said she just want to review the case again.we were hoping to hear something right there but didn't happen for us.There is nothing worse than waiting in the dark.

Pretty sure you will get your Green Card in the mail within a couple of weeks with resident date 09/09/2011 on it.
