My beneficiary's I-129f got approved (NOA2 - 8/8/2011) and today Icalled NVC to find out if they had received the documents from CSC. They informed that they have processed and mailed the doucments to Sydney, Australia. My beneficiary was living in Australia when I applied her k1 but she moved to India couple of weeks back. In I-129f I did mention that she was to be interviewed at New Delhi/India.

NVC is saying to call consulate at New Delhi and request them to accept the case from Sydney. Then call embassy at Sydney and request them to transfer the file to New Delhi.

Has anyone gone through this situation before? Any suggestions? thanks.

Yes that is what you need to do.

Contact both embassys and have them move the case.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thanks. I called New Delhi consulate, and it was impossible getting through to a consualte officer. I was transferred to a customer service hotline (VFS) who asked me to send my problem via email and expect a response in 24-48 hours. Its wait and hope for the best mode.
