Could be a stupid question but my fiance is sending the first packet off this week so we were wondering -

On the Fiance letter of intent it says -

UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY

U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES

we put the USCIS California service center.

Is that wrong? Am i ment to put the Texas one? I remember someone saying send it to the texas one and they'll forward it to the californian one or something? who do i put on the letter though?

Also on the G-325A BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION form, right down the bottom is says alien registration number. My fiance has to do one and I too correct, so what do i put as the number/

Looking forward to hearing from you guys!!!

Texas does not process K-1 visas. The Dallas lockbox is a sorting facility that removes the payments and forwards it to either CSC or VSC.

Thank you.

So do i need to edit and put the Dallas info on the letters to intent to marry and the cover letter or no? I put the Californian one on there seeming as my fiance was born and lives in California and that is where we will be living. I heard it gets transferd from the Dallas office anyway so it will be fine or no?

You do not need to put any address on the letters.

And the way the mailing is has changed since 2009, thos letter examples have not been updated since 2009. You do not require the address on the letter head because now there is no way to tell which center your package will go to.
