Im nineteen and so is my fiance.

I am Australian and he is American and we are planning on our wedding being March 3rd.

We have just started the visa process.

I have a couple of questions about the I-134?

We are both currently unemployed and full time college students.

If we got my dad to sign as a co-sponcer and possibly his uncle, would that be okay if both of us dont currently have an income?

Also, I have already been offered a really great job for when im able to work in the US. Will that make this situation any better?

Please help.

DO NOT plan anything until they have the visa in hand. DO NOT plan anything.

I completely agree with what everyone else has said. Do not plan the actual wedding until you have your visa in hand (which could be anywhere from a couple months to longer than a year). It is impossible for anyone to tell you exactly how long the process will take as each case is different depending on the factors of each relationship. Australia does accept co-sponsors so that will not be an issue but you won't need a co-sponsor for a few months most likely. Your first step should definitely be to look at the K-1 immigration guide, it has a check list for everything that needs to be in the initial I-129F package which is what you are going to send first.

Also, make sure that you are looking at everything realistically. You are both still quite young. I am not saying you can't be in love or be sure about each other, I'm only asking you to make sure that you realize what you are getting into. The visa process is a long, expensive, and frustrating and won't be completed for a couple years from the time you send the first package so make sure that you are ready for all of it before jumping in and wasting the money if either of you should change your mind later.

If you are sure, I wish you all the best of luck with your visa journey and hope it goes smoothly. My fiance and I only recently finished the first major part of our journey (he is now in the U.S. and we are planning our wedding). He was from Australia so if you have an questions about things, I'd be glad to be of assistance with what is coming up if you do decide to go through with the visa. Best of luck!

Hey so, my fiance Kyle and I have set the date for March 3rd 2012 and have just started our visa process.

Hes American and im Australian.

Just wanting to know if the G-3S2A BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION and I-134 has to be my or his information or both.

PLEAAAAASE LET ME KNOW!! Thank you!!!

I would follow the guides section. Specifically the K1 flow-chart. Study all the guides that pertain to the K1 process. If you plan on doing everything yourself without the aid of an attorney or other assistance group, you must become familiar with the K1 process. It will take you about 2-3 weeks to become familiar enough to begin, Putting the I-129F together will be the biggest challenge and then the I-134 during the interview process. Ask many questions of the senior members who have been there before you. Study-up and good luck!
