  1. 1. Do you approve of government taxing higher levels of income at higher marginal rates for the purpose of the federal income tax?

  2. 2. Do you approve of government levying social security taxes using a 'flat tax' system but only up to earned income of $106,800?

    • Yes
    • No - I believe all earned income should be subject to social security taxes
    • No - I believe social security is unconstitutional
  3. 3. Which approach do you prefer - a flat income tax or a flat sales tax? Assume no deductions or exemptions in either case and both taxes apply to all income with no exceptions. If you do not like either, pick the one you dislike less.

    • Flat income tax
    • Flat sales tax

I prefer the repeal of the whatever amendment is was that authorized an income tax, and would like the Feds to go back to apportioning the taxes among the states according to census. States need to reassert control over Federal revenue raising.

Why? People (and states) figure stuff out when things change. Nothing is static.

My problem with the sales tax is, it becomes part of the price of the goods and to many people don't realize how much taxes are actually being paid.

Writing a check gives pause.
