If you think they wont deny it you can spend $290 to try and find out. Make sure its applied for WELL before the leave time that is required so there is no overstay.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thank you Inky.

I assume that on the I-539 form where it asks for the I-94 number that the applicant would just put n/a or does not apply?

Yep and if if concerned just attach a letter stating they are Canadian citizen traveled from Canada and Canadians do not get an I-94.

There really is no way to guaranty without filling out and sending off the forms because each case is different as to if they would grant extra stay or not. But I would definitely not just stay there and overstay the allotted vacation time given. Thats a whole other can of worms that you do not want to open.

You have to have a good reason to get an extension.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I found the following information on a Canadian gov't website, based on what's said here it does appear that a Canadian citizen in the US as a tourist, can apply for an extension of stay without ever receiving a visa or an I-94 card. Does anyone agree or disagree with that? Any input would be appreciated.

I agree with that, because it makes sense, but I have no proof to back it up, just my sense of logic. Sounds like you found what you were looking for. You can put N/A or "Canadian Tourist" in the spot that asks for I-94. Good luck!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
