The only thing you might want to consider (if you have it) is a copy of any life insurance beneficiary information as I read that is considered a strong piece of evidence.

Otherwise I think it looks good!

One suggestion you want to show that your marriage is bonafide and yo ushould submit evidence that shows the past two years.

I would send bank statements from the past two years. For example: sent them 2 statements from 2009 (one from June and one from December), 2 statements from 2010 and 2 statements from 2011, get the idea. That way you are showing them that you had this account since you got married.

Hi! I do remember you! Can't believe it's already been 2 years!

A few more things I just thought of might be joint health insurance plan information and 401k beneficiary information.

We're also including a letter from the bank that lists when we opened our accounts together 2 years ago and that we've held a balance the entire time. Another item would be a credit card, if you are an authorized user on any of his cards, you can get a letter from them that says that and a range of statements from the past two years.

I will add a few statements from our first bank which we had two years ago already. We opened a new bank account down here in florida in february 2011 so we only have new statements.

No health insurance, no 401k though...

^^ Agree; you want to show co-mingling of your finances over the past two years. Good luck!

Thanks!

Of course I can't print former statements online of that stupid bank

I can print the account summary for the checking and savings showing when the accounts were opened. It will show that we had the accounts opened two years ago.

I also add a void check which shows both of our names.

I have another question:

we got married july 2009. I am adding bank statements for our bank from april 2010 and sept 2010 (can't have older than that online)

I am also adding recent bank statements from march and July 2011 from our new checking and savings account (opened in march 2011).

On the statements, I have highlighted our names, address and statement period to better show that we have common account recently and in the past.

I'm wondering if I didn't do a mistake....

Is it ok if I highlighted the stuff?

I'm pretty much done with my package. Just need to copy a few more things and then scan it all and photocopy myself an identical package to keep. I'm going to mail mine out tomorrow :)

I'm looking forward to getting this done so I can take a nice break from all the paperwork!
