To the original poster... :bonk: Read the quote from AK - shown above - Print it out and tape it to your bathroom mirror... and read it 10 times a day for the next 30 days! (lol) --- but seriously....

AK is right on. And it's not only if you want to "live longer".... it's the quality of life as you get older that you can influence now by your food choices.

Think about it this way..... She has made a life-long commitment to be with you, so give her the very best of yourself you possibly can... give her a healthy vibrant husband for life. Do it for her.

 Priceless

Thanks,

Lyn and Art

I ate a plum today and Im beginning to feel better already, but now I have another dilemma. It seems the majority here think I should let Judy eat whatever she wants but now that I'm on this

health food kick, I feel even more strongly that I should not permit Judy to stray down the path of sugar, fat and caffiene. Until now poverty has been her shield. Lacking expousure to the

evils of fastfood and an unlimited supply of candy and icecream, she has had no chance to build up an immunity, With a firm loving hand I can innoculate her against the danger.

It would be practically immoral to stand idly by as she succumbed to temptation and gluttony in this land of milk and honey and burgers and fries.

Yes, now that I have quit "cold turky", I can see that it is my duty to protect her from herself.

If you look at the flights arriving from the Philippines, the passengers look a lot skinnier than those departing for the Philippines.

My apartment is stock with food & stacks. I used to have 2 pints of ice cream in the freezer. At first my wife would sample them but then she would not "dwell into the so called junk food", she always want her gulay, fish & fruits. With me following what she eats - my eating habits/health have changed for the better. If she cooks something that I do not like/eat - she would just cook something separate for me.

Btw, your duty is to give your wife the freedom for her to eat whenever she want and for you to love & support her. :D

As I read this thread more and more. I think it should be the other way around. You wife should not allow you to eat. She gives you food, you eat what she gives you, otherwise you don't eat. Sorry, but asking if he should allow his wife to eat is like asking if the children need to brush their teeth before bedtime.... You cannot control another person except for that person allowing that control over them. Let her be herself. Just remember, you are her sole person for a while until she makes friends. Learn to help her and let her be free. Love is accepting the person as they are, not as you want them to be.
