Anybody been to Pasay City? I love that place! I could see myself living there. I love how it's shoulder to shoulder walking down the street at night, and how everyone out there is trying to make a peso. Plus looking up and looking at a bunch of unorganize electrical and telephone wires intertwined with each other and running to multiple directions! It makes me laugh every time I see it! I love that nothing is political correct! Tell me your favorite part of the Phils?

I have only been to Cebu. I been there three times to visit my fiancee and her family. We did go to Mactan Island and stayed at a resort for a few days. It was very beautiful and I have to say it's my favorite my place outside of the USA, so far.

I lived in Batangas as an expat, been all over Luzon and rented an apartment in Mabolo, Cebu for a time. Ayala shopping center and I.T. park is a pretty cool part of Cebu and I could live there. Been down south, but never stayed for more than a few days. I built a small house in Negros Oriental in Vallehermoso deep in the province and its mostly peaceful and I enjoy staying there when we visit, but its too far and secluded for stays longer than 2 months.

My most favorite place in the RP is Sabang beach, on the island of Oriental Minduro. When I was single I had way to much fun at this beach. Scuba by day, party drink all night. A weeks stay if you went semi-native with all you could drink and all the women you could chase would cost around 7000 pesos. Not bad if you ask me, What happens at Capt. Greg's stays at Capt. Greg's. Good times.

Monreal comes from an island 5 miles off the coast of the east Samar providence. They don't have any electricity or running water, but its a truly beautifull island. I love getting the island and city life when I visit there. If I had to pick where I would it would be Pasay City! I just love that place, and she has family there as well which makes it great and a reason to visit Pasay City!

My fiancee's village get my vote. I love her village and area. It is untouched by tourism and the people are very real. It feels like home to me. Sometimes I compare it to gilligan's island. Everyone considers the area so insignificant, they just let the world pass it by. When you want to get off the train and relax, it is the one place I say to go.

Since I am from the province of Bicol, my most favorite place Caramoan. Its the Boracay and Palawan Version in my province. I have been there couple of times and I can't wait to come back again.

Boracay is already convoluted and massively develop. Palawan is quite far and costly to fly, so Caramoan is my haven, in my own home.

If you go to Caramoan, its like a private island, you will only see few tourists. Its like a small piece of paradise.

This is my blog about this place. Caramoan islands

Don't go walking around alone in Pasay streets, I have an aussie friend who decided to take a walk around the vicinity of Harrison Plaza and he was nabbed by the police for "loitering in a known drug den" and he did not even know it!!! He was not released until he paid P30,000. He has been traveling back and forth down under and Philippines since 2002 and travel around Manila, Angeles City, Cebu and Davao and some Asian country as well. He decided to make Manila as his based and just moved around but after that incident, he moved to Angeles City and only stays in Manila for a couple of days as a pit stop before he catches his plane.

Other than my hometown Davao, I love Bohol, Surigao and Negros... But i think Bicol is lovely too, I have been to Naga but did not go around much, it's just a pity that it is always hammered by typhoon...
