By now, your case likely has been forwarded from the National Visa Center (NVC) to the U.S. Embassy Manila (USEM). Instead of waiting for the USEM to send you a letter telling you that you are eligible to schedule an interview, you should call the NVC, get your MNL case number from them, and then complete your medical, pay the visa fee at BPI, and schedule your interview.

If you are interested in reading the eligibility letter which the USEM will eventually send to you, please click here.

Best wishes for a smooth and speedy visa journey. :star:

We received our NOA2 last June 24, 2011. You're just one day ahead from us since you received it by the 23rd.

We are also patiently waiting from NVC :( My fiance called up the NVC two weeks after we received our NOA2, but they don't have it yet.

He was advised to send the scanned copy of NOA2 through email and we are waiting for another week before he will call again to inquire.

I know how you feel, but we just have to be patient and wait. Both of us can't wait to be with someone we love.

Don't wait a week to call the NVC. Call every day!

Yes, unfortunately many of us are sitting here waiting for these bureaucratic inefficiencies to be fixed!!! Many petitions, Fiance and Spousal, are stuck in California. Through many irritating conversations, this much is clear to fellow VJers. They seem to have admitted that they send them in batches, and it is common to have to wait 4 weeks to get a number. I know this is my 4th week of waiting and I can imagine your frustration!! If you want to keep track of other people's case statues progress (as of today, some NOAs of 6/20 have been assigned a case number...you can guess from there), read some of these forums:

Best of luck, it has to be soon!!

I would definitely advise that you call the NVC everyday. We were approved at CSC on 6/17 and finally received our case number yesterday. There's definitely been a delay, so you just have to stay on top of it.

PS- The good news is they shipped out our case the same day. Good luck!
