Hey Guys, I wanted to ask if there was a way for me to get two of the cases done quicker because of a personal reason. The reason is that my Uncle will have to return back to the US somewhere in September and currently my Grandmother and my wife's cases are at NVC Stage. My grandmother is really old and the only option she has is to come with my Uncle. My wife on the other had was planning to come down with my uncle, but I think I will not be able to get an interview date until September.

So is there anyway to talk to NVC and see if possible to get these cases done sooner then later. My wife is optional, but my grandmother case that has to be done before september if possible. Of course I want all three to come together. So please share your thoughs, thank you!

Who is the petitioner? Is the petitioner a US citizen or an LPR? What is the petitioner's relationship to the beneficiary? When were the cases filed? Are the Priority Dates for the cases current? If the PDs are not current, there is no way to expedite anything.

My Dad is the Petitioner and he is a US Citizen and the relationship is that she is my dad mother. The current status of the case is that it is at NVC Status waiting to be compleated and I am guessing that the Priority Dates are the one on the USCIS Letter and what do you mean my Priority Date Current?

While it may be convenient for everyone to travel together, it is not a compelling reason to expedite these cases.

Read this article on how to expedite a case; http://www.ehow.com/how_5957423_file-visa-expedite-request.html

Then read this;

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=16a6b1be1ce85210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Expedite Criteria

All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and are granted at the discretion of the Director. The burden is on the applicant or petitioner to demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met. The criteria are as follows:

Severe financial loss to company or individual

Extreme emergent situation

Humanitarian situation

Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States

Department of Defense or National Interest Situation (Note: Request must come from official United States Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government)

USCIS error

Compelling interest of USCIS

Note: Discretionary expedite requests for petitions and applications that have Premium Processing Service available will not be considered for expedite processing. The only exception is when the petitioner is a not-for-profit organization designated by the Internal Revenue Service. For information regarding premium processing, please refer to the premium processing webpage.

If you have already filed your application or petition:

You can make an expedite request by contacting the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283. The NCSC will take a “service request” and forward your expedite request to the office with jurisdiction over the application or petition. You also have the options of 1). visiting your local office by scheduling an InfoPass appointment or 2). writing a letter to the local office or service center.

Awesome, Thank you for the information. I guess I will shoot an e-mail to NVC and give them my reasons and hope for the best. I know my wife's case might be different, but my grandmother has the right reason to get the interview date sooner, I mean how else is she suppose to travel to the US without any help. Also since my grandfather passed away, she will need someones support. I am waiting to see the August Visa Appointment and see if she will end up on that list, but I will e-mail NVC anyway and see what happens, Thanks Again!
