Ok im lot on NVC process now??

Timeline

were still waiting for our NOA2 but should receive it withing month so we decided we shall get everything together now try save time with NVC, now, who gets the DS-3032 form, is it my American wife who is filing for me? and once she has sent that an paid the AOS fee i get the DS 230 part 1 & 2 from(which Ive already downloaded completed an sent to my wife) an pay the IV bill, do i have this process right, obviously throw in all the other stuff like police check, birth certificates etc. so confusing

Timeline

The DS-3032 is a form the beneficiary completes designating who their agent will be that is to receive correspondence from the NVC. You as the beneficary can email that form, this wiki explains how to do that.

The civil documents (e.g. police and birth certificates) are sent to the NVC along with the DS-230.

Our journey:

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Send ds-3032 form

wait for AOS fee....Pay AOS fee ..... send I-864 documents and forms

wait for IV fee ....Pay IV bill ..... send DS-230 documents and forms

To give you an idea of our NVC journey, here is our in depth timeline :)

April 27th 2011 - Notice I-130 had been approved / NOA2

May 7th 2011– Phone NVC to ask if case had been entered yet, told to wait “15 business days”

May 9th 2011 - Our case officially entered into NVC and LND case number received

May 12th 2011 - DS-3032 E-mailed to me/Received invoice for AOS bill ($88)

May 13th 2011 - AOS fee paid

May 14th 2011 - DS-3032 Posted to NVC

May 16th 2011 - AOS fee showed as paid, receipt made and instructions for I-864EZ/Checklist sent

May 18th 2011 - I-864EZ Packet posted to NVC

May 20th 2011 - DS-3032 Accepted

May 23rd 2011 - Received e-mail Invoice for IV bill (11 days after AOS fee) ($404)

May 24th 2011 - Sent off DS-230 Packet & documents

May 25th 2011 - Payment website finally showed my bill - IV Bill PAID

June 2nd 2011 – Received false RFE ‘Checklist cover letter email” asking for DS-230 packet (already sent)

June 6th 2011 - Medical in London - PASSED

June 8th 2011 - "sign in failed" to NVC invoice page

June 9th 2011 - Case COMPLETE at NVC!

June 11th 2011- Interview date assigned (July 29th) and packet 4 received (letter confirming interview date)

June 13th 2011 - London Embassy received my Case

June 13th 2011 – E-mailed London embassy asking for earlier interview date

June 27th 2011 – Received response from London embassy via e-mail assigning me a new interview date

July 25th 2011 - INTERVIEW DATE!!! (Rescheduled from July 29th) – 9AM
