lol, that's the firing it up part, got about 2 hours worth of coals burning in it right now, so it will be ready to light for supper!

It also comes in white and yellow

I just picked up a President's Choice Kettle Grill for 12$ It's a tabletop grill and small, but it kicks the hibatchi's ####! Just finished putting it together and going out to fire it up!

We have a really great smoker grill that is actually electric! It has lava stone in the base and you can add any sort of flavoured woods then either grill or use it as a smoker, the difference being whether you use a long cylinder 'body' on top of the base along with a water basin, or just use the grill right on top of the heat source. It heats up quickly, works great and the food tastes fantastic.

I actually love to cook over a wood fire and have done everything from baking pies and bread to pots of stews or roasting whole chickens over a camp fire. Of course, that isn't quite as convenient in the back yard when you want a quick dinner - nor does it comply with most municipal regulations but it's great when camping out.

i didn't wan to start my own thread so i will ask here....

my husband has been hinting that he wants a smoker so i figured i would get him one for his birthday but i have no idea what to get...i am looking for one hat is under 100 bucks...

Okay, bringing up an old thread, now that I am in the US and it's been decided... Charcoal for the win!

I have a Brinkmann Barrel Smoker and Grill.... the thing is great! It took me a while to cure it (never had to do that before, but it's just like using a cast iron pan) otherwise, it's just like using a regular barbecue! As to lighting the coals, I have a chimney starter, and using that, it really doesn't take as long as you'd think!

I have made quite a bit of bbq on this grill, but have not yet done any smoking on it, but plan to do so this week. I plan to bring something out of the freezer to defrost today, and these are my choices: beef chuck roast, beef rump roast, pork loin roast, pork loin chops, whole chicken (2 available), petite sirloin steaks, or brats.

Anyone want to help me lose my virginity (smoking that is?)

I want how to's, brining recipes and whatnot! pretty please?
