Lets all take a deep breath here everyone.

I think Moneyfers situation and meaning to their original post and posts since then have been largely misinterpreted. Lets all please realize this it's stressful for all of us, we are all equals and emotions do run high. I don't see the need to run after each other with pitchforks throwing stones. All they said from the start was basically "walk a mile in my shoes and be grateful you aren't me" And personally I don't blame them or anyone wanting to be handled first considering circumstances like those or even yours Stuart and Thea. I don't believe there is any I am better than you going on it's just stress, frustration and agony coming out and very little opportunity in text to explain ones self better. I don't think there was ill will intended at all. But when people are going through this we can take offense and read into things that aren't there.

For the record I think what you have had to endure Stuart and Thea is terrible too and I am very sorry to hear it but I am also so happy to see that even with the bump in the K-1 road you still managed to get your NOA2 in just shy of 6 months. That's fantastic considering what happened to you  and if you were in Vermont I fear the outcome would still be pending sadly :( Regardless of all that congrats on your NOA2!

In the end we need to handle each other more gently. Take a minute to really think about what we all are and have gone through. No one on here thinks they are better than the other but they may feel cheated by the system and rightly so. I know I would if I was Moneyfer or Stuart and Thea.

PS. please dont chase me with a pitchfork and throw stones at me I bruise easy :innocent:

Been following her case. My heart goes out to her and her fiance. No doubt it sucked, just like I said before. I respect her, just like I respect everyone else on this board. Respect works both ways. I've not once seen a "me vs them" attitude out of Monyfer. I did yesterday. My point was not to disrespect, my point was just the opposite...have respect for each of our journeys...No one person's journey is more important or any less painful than the other. Pain is relative. And to some extent I would imagine every on this board has felt pain walking this path. We signed up for this knowing it was going to be painful, knowing nothing was guaranteed.

While I'm praying for a speedy NOA2 for them both, I'm also not about to sit here, grovel, and discount the worry others who have been waiting...as you say...as little as "3 months" not knowing what the future holds for them either.

Not how I work. Sorry!

I was considering myself as a March VSC filer because it took over a month for my NOA1, so I've been following along with them, as well as in the May group as Igor puts me there. To count from my NOA1, I got my approval surprisingly fast. It's a matter of perspective, and staying positive and supporting each other has been really great. We even have a facebook group so we can chat with each other and support each other and cheer each other when we get approved. To come on here and see people belittling others because they haven't had it so bad just makes me mad, especially when they weren't even saying they had had it bad in the first place. As to Monyfer, if she has said something she didn't mean, then she should apologise.

All things come to those who wait....as they say. Tiene paciensia por favor. It will happen. It just happened for me; however, at CSC. But still, this is only the first step. There are a few more to go. Do not try to rush it...because errors can occur in that. I am sure it will happen soon for you guys. And still, it is only the first step! Again, may you be blessed in every edeavour...and....it will come soon. "the ox is slow, but the earth is patient!"

Be well!!!! Best wishes!!!

So, you're somehow more important or better than the March filers we're to take from that comment? I only have one word to describe someone using a statement like that, and it's spiteful. (actually only one word I can use here, the others might get me banned)

I will repeat, it's not about how long you wait, everyone gets their turn and the USCIS does not process them in the order they come in. Waiting is hard, but please stop making yourself out to be special because you've been waiting longer. It's pissing me off, and probably a ton of others on here too.

USCIS LOST my first petition. They SCREWED UP my second petition. Did I feel entitled to get my NOA2 before others did? NO, in fact, while I should have been a January filer, or a March filer, I ended up being a May filer. Did you see me bashing people who got their NOA2 before I was originall hoping for mine? NO! Did you see me telling anyone lamenting about the wait that they have no reason to complain unless their cases were screwed up like mine was? NO!

I'm sick of your poor me attitude. You're not the only one that has had problems in this process, you're not the only one that ever will. Quit thinking it makes you special because it doesn't!!!!!!!

EVERYONE WAITS. It's unfair, but that's the way it is. If you didn't know that coming in, then NEWS FOR YOU!!!!

Your long wait sucks, I hope it's over soon. But quit with the attitude, you're no better than anyone else.

Not more important, but more deserving because I have been waiting so much longer yes. First come first serve. I won't change my opinion on that. I knew coming in average processing time was 5 months and waited patiently for that...not double that.

From the sticky in the K1 Visa section from outta the mouth of a director from the VSC:

So what about some people get approved ahead of others?

Sme petitions have problems or delays, we do not hold back others for this. If an adjudicator has problems, he puts that one aside or sends an RFE and goes on to the next. The next one may be clean and gets approved right away, in just a few minutes, they adjudicate 15-20 petitions a day per person, and the ones with problems may wait weeks for the petitioner to respond to the RFE, or maybe it is a name check they are waiting for. Petitions are assigned as they arrive, when we are working on those petitions, but they do not go out the door in the same order they came in.

No one is more deserving of a fiance visa than anyone else, no, not even you. You would think that if you were more deserving, then they'd hold back everyone else while they work on your case. Because you aren't more deserving, as you say you are, they aren't doing this, and rightly so.

WHat I know is this....NO ONE KNOWS how they will feel or react waiting for 10 months. And saying things to further the upset feeling in this post is ridiculous. Because we all see things different. I am a more sympathetic person and always thinking myself in someone elses shoes. We are all here for support of each other....and FACT is our hearts and support should go out to Monyfer, charlize56, dumb/Dumber....I waited 7 months and i can imagine that waiting 10 months+ would make my heart ache. Please stop attacking her. SHe is a nice person. SHe has worked her #### off to get a answer. I would hate for anyone to go through that long wait and i hope others dont have too.....

Karma....you don't want it to come back and bite you now do you?

If that thread is no longer valid, it should no longer be stickied.

As to the whole who deserves it more thing, no one is saying that it's not harder on Monyfer because she's been waiting longer, we're saying that just because she waits longer doesn't make her more deserving. Does she love her fiance more than we love ours or something?

I will never think that one person on here is more deserving than another, and USCIS does a great job of putting through what they can put through, and though Monyfer may feel that it's at her expense, I'm sure whatever USCIS lackey has her file on their desk will be happy to see it get out of their hands.

Who would I LIKE to see get theirs next? Of course I don't want people waiting that long for their approval, so I'd say Monyfer or any of the others. Does that make them more deserving of an approval than anyone else? No, it does not.

To come on a public forum and tell everyone that you don't want to see any more March filers getting approvals because you don't have yours yet, and you deserve it first is very hateful and rude. So much so that two people got banned from this thread because of the anger it caused. We are in this together and should support each other, not tell people they don't deserve to get their approvals because you haven't gotten yours yet.

Wow.

This thread has turned hateful, immature, and embarrassing.

I hope none of you have to wait 10 months only to have someone waiting 4/5 rub it in your face.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Attitudes like this get you nowhere in life.

I wish everyone the best of luck on their journeys, but this is a place that should be used to support each other. Not to taunt each other, throw subtle jabs at each other, undermine someone else's journey, etc.
