Congrats. So it is 50 days from the date you get interview information and 75 days from your case completed. I wonder how Chennai is doing - unforunately there are no responses! Keep us informed of the interview experience/s and all the best.

Chennai's schedule information is 1 week behind Mumbai's. For Mumbai next month's interview closes on 15th of the month and for Chennai it's 22nd of the month.

Congrats. Your case was completed on 7/7 - so it is 60 days in your case from case completed.

Chennai's schedule information is 1 week behind Mumbai. For Mumbai next month's interview closes on 15th of the month and for Chennai it's 22nd of the month.

I am trying to figure out mine as there is likelyhood of my case getting completed by August 15th - may be I need to look at October interview time ro is September a posibility - of course subject to my case getting completed.

I don't know for sure as when the interview are scheduled. Based on member's date/timeline it seems if slots are available NVC will try (As late as 15th of the month for Mumbai and by 22nd for Chennai) to get your interview scheduled. That's why if you call NVC they keep saying till 15th/22nd (Based on your Consulate) we are waiting for the interview schedule and as soon as those dates are gone they will till we can't schedule for this month so wait for subsequent month.

You can send a nice friendly e-mail to them to see if they can bump up your interview due to anyone changing or not wanting to interview at that time. I have seen it happen on another forum I frequent.

so long wait, case complete July 18, interview on Sept 28, way over 2 months just to get to the interview? USCIS approved the petition in 109 days and now waiting 70 days just to get to the interview? Is there a way I can request for a earlier date as my spouse has to come to US and take admission exams and they are available only in September? and my interview scheduled for Sept end. what a coincidence?

What's the subject of that email that has Original appointment letter.?

Today I got the email with subject line "BMB2011****** (STD P4 APP)" with following attachment

"bmb2011****** - std p4 app.pdf

Is this also an appointment letter or I should be getting another Email?

I beleive that is the one. It should state the date, time and place of interview on first page and totally the document is four pages long, go through all four pages completely.

Anyway to request a earlier interview date? for some reason my interview is scheduled way at the end of Sept even-though my case closed on July 18.
