My sister petitioned is approved too from his fiance and i want my dad and my sister to go to medical together, is it possible that my dad can go to medical and just use the MNL case #?

I am in the same situation as you, we are approved (IR-1 Visa) and only waiting for the interview date. After asking here the same question I was told that as long as we have the MNL number my wife can go take her medical exam. I also emailed St. Luke's and asked them the same question, here is the response I received from St. Luke's.

"Normally, appointment letter is presented to us during the medical examination. However it is your discretion to have the medical examination without the appointment letter, for as long as you know your case number and visa preference category.

For other information and requirements, kindly visit our website at <http://www.slec.ph/>www.slec.ph".

I am having my wife go on the 24th with only her MNL number and with her visa category. I hope this helps.

I highly recommend getting the medical done as quickly as possible. As you can see from my timeline, if we had waited for the appointment letter, it would have added 2 more months waiting for the TB sputum culture. DO IT NOW!!

Just print out the NOA2 and the letter from NVC with you MNL case number and that is enough to do it also do the online registration for the Medical which saves time. Also you dont have to go to early to do so. My wife went after 9 am and was done at 1pm. My wife would have been out earlier but they cut her off at 12:30pm for lunch.

My advice is.... GO NOW! We received our NOA2 on 24 Jan, and STILL, to this day, have not received any word from USEM on our packet. Just get it done, then schedule interview.

Yes, you just need the case number. A copy of your NOA2 will also help. As suggested by others, do it as soon as you can.

I suggest you register your dad online at SLMCEC website. Print a copy of the email confirmation and show it to the guard. This way, he doesn't have to fill up all these information at the Clinic. All they will do is take his picture. He still needs to submit the required 2x2 pictures though.

Hi Dan Tes,

My mom's POe will also be las vegas and she had udergone sputum test and culture too in St lukes. My question is /are;

1.What did they ask her at the POE? Did they tell her to call the local health dept. and make an appoinment coz someone told me my mom will undergo a repeat sputum exam at the local health department when she arrive in las vegas. How true is this? How long to wait for the result again? What about other tests? What about the fee, is there any that she have to pay again? Please share your wife's experiences. THANK YOU So MUCH.

Do pardon me for hijacking this thread,

our case is F2A, me and my 2 teenagers,

our interview date is on March 15, 2012,

and I have decided to go to Manila for our medical

tomorrow coz I learned that my daughter (17) just had her

period 7 days ago,..

My question is that is it ok for us to go now on a medical,..?

My son (14) is also with us, and I'm 37...

Also, did I read it correctly that St. Luke's would be the taking our passports

after the medical and they would be one to forward it to the US Embassy,..?

Is it safe,..?

I would really appreciate some insights,

Thank you so much...

Cardilene

Ohh found the answer on the hospital's website,...

* The medical report and visa photographs are submitted by St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic directly to the U.S. Embassy, with few exceptions. In most cases, only the passport, CD of Chest X-ray, and Vaccination Documentation Worksheet are given to the applicants.

Cheers to all,...

I'm not really sure since my wife assigned a lawyer/agent to process the petition. All i know is that they got a letter last jan 2011 stating that there is an available visa# already. It wasnt till Nov. that they paid the IV and AOS fees... What i want to know is that if they assigned an agent for the petition, do we need to fill up and sign the forms or will the agent be the one to do it? Thank you in advance.
