Hello Guys !!!

I just wanna ask of how many days or weeks does it takes to have the case number? Cos in our case, we've been waiting for 22 days :help: .We called and email the NVC but the response is this :

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) has received your

inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice.

Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition

from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact

USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition. :bonk:

:crying:

Does anyone here experienced the same thing ? :help:

There have been quite a few people that received their NOA2 in June and their case has not been received at NVC. I'm right there along with you. I got the same response you did followed up with one stating that USCIS says the file is en route and we will be contacted in 6-8 weeks. All we can do is wait at this point.

My NOA2 was May 31, NVC assigned me a case number yesterday. I did contact my senator and I think that's what did it. I gave USCIS/NVC 4 weeks then sent a request for my Senator to do an inquiry. He took a little over a week to respond but when he did I have a case number within days.
