K1 application rejected - missing document

Hi,

I am french and my fiancee is american and we want to get married in the US. I live in London and our K1 visa application got rejected the 29th of june by the amaerican embassy in london because of a missing document, the translation of my empty french police record. I had to send them the translation on friday via a special mail service of the embassy. Now that they have the missing document I was wondering:

- What's the next step?

- Do i have to apply again?

- Am I going to be able to leave the 8th of August?

- Am I going to be allowed to get married on the 28th of August?

The problem being that I am in france right now and I can't reach the american embassy in london to ask them the question since "Callers from outside the U.K. and some mobile and network providers cannot access this number."

I start to be really worried that I would have to cancel all my wedding plans:/

Would you have any info on this topic??

It sounds as if you were issued a request for evidence, not a rejection. Did this occur at your visa interview?

Yes it was during the intervew.

Did the notice specifically ask you to submit the missing document?

They gave me a blue document with "Please contact the courier provider, secure mail service tel:------------ To arrange collection and delivery of requested documents and passport to the embassy. When we have acquired all the necesseray documents for issuance, we will send you your visa package to you via the courier" written on it."

But I don't know when I am going to receive it and what it contains.
