Nickky

Vacation sounds so great right now. :)

It looks like NOA2 in 85 days is becoming the norm around May Filers so yours should arrive soon

I am still waiting for the NOA2 hard copy and hopefully we will have a case number by next week.Called NVC yesterday and nothing yet. I am getting inpatient :P. I guess USCIS played a number on my nerves

Well, Cipollina, I still have around 10-15 days to prove 85 days' rule for May filers . I guess, on the day I will drive to Canada I'll get a warning message from USCIS telling me that I'd better stay in the USA and get yourself ready for the NVC phase :bonk: . Like that saying: "Business before pleasure"

You never know Nickky

Even if it really happens that you get your NOA2 text on your way the Canada there is nothing to worry about.First of all the good news will make the vacation even better.

My file was just received today at the NVC after 5-6 days of receiving the NOA2 text but no NVC number yet.I was told to call back in a week or 2. So you will have about 3 weeks to enjoy your vacation before starting to deale with NVC.

Hang in there. NOA2 is coming :)

From the approvals in VJ i have noticed that CSC is still working on the petitions received in the beginning of May

I use to play around with my receipt number on the USCIS site to get an idea about the dates VSC was processing

This is the way you can do it in case any of you guys is interested .

Punch in your receipt number to see your on-line status. Start changing your receipt number by small numbers going backwards. Meaning looking at the receipt numbers before yours. Keep going until you find one that is approved. The receipt number before the one that was approved will tell you the date the petition was filed and give you an idea of the date the petitions are being worked on

It did keep me entertained until i received an RFE which through me of the loop. Normal processing times did not apply anymore

Hope this helps and wish you all a speedy approval
