With a key test of the GOP presidential field just over a month and a half away, candidates are descending on Iowa this week to sharpen their appeal to voters in the first caucus state.

Four announced or potential Republican candidates, including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin ®, are visiting the Hawkeye State this week.

...

Palin will also create buzz regarding her presidential plans when she travels with her husband, Todd, to Pella, Iowa, on Tuesday to attend the premiere of a documentary film that lauds her political career, titled “The Undefeated.”

“We are very excited to visit historic Pella and its opera house and look forward to seeing the finished film for the first time with fellow Americans from the heartland,” Palin said in a statement.

...

The 2008 vice presidential nominee ... is reportedly going to meet with some Iowa Republican activists during her stop.

Looming over the state is the Ames Straw Poll — a major test of the GOP field that is only 46 days away. Republicans are beginning to compete with one another to seize momentum going into the event, which is seen as an early test of a candidate’s ability to organize.

Palin can claim to be "from heartland" (or at least "flyover country") given that she was born in ID not far from BC border.

The Undefeated? Did she jump off the losing ticket in 2008 before the votes were counted? I must have missed that bit of news.
The reference maybe to her mayoralty and governorship (and not include sidekick on dead-in-water Presidential campaign)
Either way, the article is wrong. Palin isn't a candidate. Neither announced nor potential.

She ran for city council: Not defeated (she won 530 - 310 votes)

She ran for city council: Not defeated (she won 418 - 185 votes)

She ran for mayor: Not defeated (she won 651 - 440 votes)

She ran for mayor: Not defeated (she won 909 - 292 votes)

She ran for lieutenant governor: Defeated in the GOP primary

She ran for governor: Not defeated - but quit

She ran for VP: Defeated in the general election

You can try and rationalize it all you want but Sarah ain't "The Undefeated". She may not understand what the term actually means so I'll cut her some slack on that misleading title of that self-aggrandizing deocumentary of hers.
