Hello All,

I received packet 3 which contained the DS-156 forms. However, this particular form shows an expiry date of 09/30/2010. I know there is an updated version of this form on the website. But does anyone have any ideas if I should go ahead and use the one that was sent to me or just print off the new one off the website. I do have my reservations doing either one of them. If I use the expired form, I hope they will not come back to me telling me I have to go fill out the new one on the interview date. And if I choose to fill the new one, I hope they will not come back saying this is NOT what we sent to you. A little confused, Please any advise based on experience will help. By the way, the packet was from the Consulate's office in Lagos, Nigeria.

Remember to breathe!

They sent you the forms so it is okay to use them. Sadly the Nigerian consulate is not known for using the recent version of the forms which just confuses everyone. Good luck on your journey!

Well, just follow the instructions of what they have written. I thought the DS-156 is only can be found as an online visa application form. Because i was gonna tell you that the DS-156 nonimmigrant application form has been already updated...!..
