Tax question for I-864

Hi Everyone,

I just want to double check something with you all as I really want to get everything right to avoid delays with AOS. My husband is including the last 3 tax years with the I-864. We are including his tax return and transcript for 2010, and I just wanted to know if it is okay just to include transcripts for 2009 and 2008 instead of tax returns.

And preferred as tax transcripts are what the IRS accepted and processed and is part of you official tax file. Tax returns can be faked. I sent in only transcripts as they are so easy to obtain. I did have both the tax returns and transcripts for 2010 for the interview as they misspelled my wife's last name on the trascript as the "I" is next to the "U" just to show it was the IRS' mistake, not mine .

tax returns,transcripts and w2 from the last 3 years would be even better so that, you won't get a RFE about that matter.

If you have transcripts, then don't send a tax return too. It's redundant.
