Must have tax return?

So, our step 1 was finally approved! I am wondering if someone knows whether I have to have the last tax return or if the tax transcript is good enough for the affidavit of support.

tax transcripts are actually preferable but if your sending 2010 and dont get tax transcript send w2's as well (copies that is...)
