Good day everyone!

I am new to this.. Here is my questions:

My boyfriend would like to take me with him. He is an American citizen. We decided to take a fiancee visa process. I would like to know if he is qualified to file a visa for me. What are those requirements for him that he is applicable to take me?

Thank you so much..

If you already have spent time together with your boyfriend in the Philippines and he is single, he should be qualified to file a petition for you. Make sure to take pictures and save your conversation (emails, chats) - you'll need this when applying for a visa. :)

You need to look at the Guides (top of this page on blue line) to see how the K1 process works.

You need to be legally available to be married

Have met within the past 2 years

Able to provide valid proof of such

Prepared to marry within 90 days of arrival in the U.S. following approval of your K1 Visa.

This is a great site with lots of information and people prepared to help, so you need to have a look around it and familiarise yourself with what there is to know.

It starts with the I-129F, which your fiance needs to complete and submit to the USCIS. (All details in the info at the top of page.... examples of completed forms are there too).

Anything you don't understand just keep asking questions here and read the forums to keep in touch with things you may need to know.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
