No kidding about I-90 !! We'll see if in fact the CBP folks have a form to change the name on the green card like a previous post suggested--would be nice if that worked, but if not, guess we will be stuck with the fee. The only upside is that we know for sure they are working on it. I have been keeping a detailed NVC time line that I will post once we are completely done, but it looks good:

They received the AOS and IV packages 6/6.

They put them into their system 6/17.

And confirmed they started working on them 6/20, and the name change showed up 6/21.

That's all pretty encouraging.

Our financials are a little trickier than normal, and I am fighting off an RFE--we haven't filed 2010 yet and have an automatic extension they overlooked, and I have a supervisor at their end looking at everything to verify that the extension is in the package--it is--and once he verifies it, the RFE will evaporate, but it hasn't been dismissed yet, so am not counting my chickens yet.
