Biometrics if children are removing conditions solo?

My stepdaughters followed after my wife to the US, so they are going through ROC by themselves, my wife already removed.

Anyway, CIS received the I-751 in mid-April and we received the receipt/extension notices.

It has been 6 weeks and no biometrics appt yet, so I called them today. The level one customer misinformation line is a joke, they read off a checklist that has nothing to do with your question: "So I understand you are not an employer calling on behalf of your employee, you are not calling about naturalization, you are not a Martian looking to move to earth, etc.) So I ask to transfer me to level II and I spoke with an IO who told me that they won't be doing biometrics because they are under 14. They "scanned the pics" that I sent in with the I-751 and will use those instead of the biometrics picture. I don't know if I buy that, but this came from an immigration officer.

Any comments?

Has anybody's minor kids/step kids removed conditions by themselves (without the parent)?

If so, did they go through biometrics?

thanks.

Exactly my experience when dealing with level 1 for anything.

Today, my wife made me call again ( ) and the level 1 lady asked me this:

Since they are minors, they are not active in the military, is that correct?

I almost fell out of my chair laughing.

Well Mine were 17 and 13 respectivly and both got notification for Bio, however not even 3 months after receving the card ( 10 yr ) we had to re apply for the 13 who turned 14 ( and of course pay the 80.00 fee AGAIN ) as is the requirment go figure. How old is the child? Does the PR card they have now have a fingerprint on it? My little one ( 13 ) did not when he came.

Have fun with the mis information line LOL :bonk:

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?
