Hello to all my friends! Just wanted to say hi and let everyone know I made it safely to Cairo but not without mishaps. I flew American Airlines from Chicago to London. The American Airlines flight was uncomfortable, but a fast flight overall. I got to London waited the 5 hours for my layover, boarded the plane then proceeded to sit for 5 hours on a plane that went nowhere! It would seem the plane's wings were malfunctioning and the engineers were attempting to fix the problems. So here I sat on a plane full of angry people wanting to get to Cairo. The funny thing was every time someone would start to yell "let me off the plane" or " what is going on" I would see a stewardess come running down the aisle and say "more beer, more wine?" LOL That's right folks they were trying to get us drunk LOL. I felt like a vulnerable girl at a fraternity party! Wow those British Airline workers really know how to party! By the time they finally let us off the plane there were so many drunk people it was just crazy! Anyhoooo, the benefit to all of this??? I got to stay at a very nice luxury hotel, the downside??? I had to wait another day before I was with my love. So I finally made it to Cairo the next night around 10 30 pm and there he was my beautiful husband waiting for me in the airport with a video camera in hand! This man in camera happy! So I am here now and settled back in to our flat and to be honest I couldn't be happier, I know we made the right decision. And really I am just so happy to be here I didnt even get upset to see we missed out on the June interview, ok a lil white lie ... Ok enough yappin, I just wanted everyone to know I made it safely and I will come on to see how everyone is doing with their journey, and I will keep you all up to date when I hear any news! God bless us all and keep us safe, healthy and happy!

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. Yesterday it was so HOT and the day before too. I stay indoors all day, then at night we go out to play and to sit in the cafe with friends. So far I am handling the heat. I am looking for a good dress maker here in Egypt to have some clothes made, know of any one here in Cairo?
