When medical examination documents and blood/x-ray test results are submitted to the consul for a K1/K2 interview, are they returned? Or kept by the embassy?

All documents contained in the envelope received from the medical are kept as they become a part of your permanent "A" file

YMMV

the doctors office gives you a sealed envelope to bring to the embassy, you can keep the x rays,i see some one post that if you ask the doctor for a copy of your medical for you to keep for your self, some doctors will not.

The beneficiary only gets to keep the x-rays, which are not needed for anything else after the visa is approved, and the vaccination worksheet, form DS-3025. Do no lose this worksheet as you will need to send a copy to the USCIS for their AOS.

You can get more info and support from other members going through the US embassy in Colombia by going to the Colombian Club thread here on VJ.
