FYI, the only service centers that process I-129F are Vermont (VSC) and California (CSC). But welcome to VJ May Filers. Im not too far off from you guys, my NOA-1 was received in March. Rule of thumb, stay busy and be patient. Im learning the art of both.

My fiancée and I are expecting our first child together in October. So, I plan on being there for the birth. My mother and I are flying out there on 10/9/11 and staying a month. In that time, I hope to be able to have her get her medical done and be with her for her interview. If all goes well, we'll get to bring her back with us. All I can do in the meantime is hope and pray for that.

Is there anyone of you is able to track your case status yet with the number on the NOA1?

Yes. Use your receipt number here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do and create your account to receive electronic updates. You can log into your account from time to time to see if your case update date has changed. If it has, then you've been "touched;" meaning your case file has been handled by someone and updated activity has been entered into the USCIS computer system.

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T
