No, a million Iraqi died in this war and tens of thousands of Afghans, and after these wars, only two accomplishments so far, the killing of Sadam Hussen and Bin Laden.

Ahhh the true patriot. Do you bother separating the death toll which is self inflicted in incidents such as the OP and deaths caused directly by our military which you hate so much? Do you then bother to further tally how many killed directly by our military who are actual combatants vs. Collateral damage for deeper accuracy in your 'our military are blood thirsty killer' rants?

Oh, you get it all wrong. I don't hate our miitary at all. Actually, I probably care about them more than anyone else on these boards.

I just love playing the irony game, that a few thousand here and there that get killed by AQ, yet due to our great leaders, our military has taken out more innocent people than AQ ever could.

Hell, if you pay attention to my posts, I've said if this were a real war, we should be killing more innocent people. However, this isn't a real war. It's a BS game like the war on drugs. It's a facade to keep us in the middle east and keep government defense contractors filthy rich.

"collateral damage" is an interesting use of terms figuring there really isn't supposed to be that much, but as I said, the proof is in the pudding on that one there that it is exponential in comparison to what AQ has done.

I don't know, but from all the bombings and attacks that Taliban is doing against the Pakistani military and the government officials, it looks like they're not on the same line.

A little more realistic version would be "you sow weeds, don't complain when they takeover your garden"--basically, Pak government since the Robespierrean dictatorship of unremorseful 1971-warcriminal Zia ul-Haq did just this and its policy has fructified.

even reading through (translation of) the original text by Homer shows it was economic enrichment/empowerment of Greece (Troy was roughly where Istanbul is--and Greek control of Bosphourus meant unfettered access to tin-mines of Crimea, tin being an essential part of bronze), as several of the Greek kingdoms that showed up for the war (example of Phylace in Thessaly) had no reason otherwise to do so.
