Congratulations! That was fast! :) Was your case expedited or did you file normally? Filed our I-130 only days after you did, hoping to hear something soon...

We did not expedite just got lucky again...Hope you hear something soon.

Hey we received a RFE today. It was only the marriage certificate- because I sent them the decoration one- not the certified copy. I have just sent that off now- so I hope to have a response in the following few weeks!!

If Id sent that right- we'd probably be approved right now! dam it.

But this is 2 months before I expected to hear anything so im pleased.

things are deffo moving faster this year than last.

I realised that I needed to order my police certificate- I wish id done it before now, because im in the US so I have to wait till I get home (2 weeks) and then it takes 10 days. Im not paying 70 pounds to get it here in 2 days!!

So realistically its probably going to be December/Jan... I might spend xmas with my family in the UK (havent decided though).

The speed the NVC is going maybe you'll have it by the time we get our case numbers :)

Let's hope things speed up soon. I'm ready to go!

Called and they received the case on the 15th of August, was told it would take 10 - 15 business days to input into the system and generate a case #.

NVC received our case on August 19th :) Hurray!!! The operator said 10 to 20 days before case number. So we're back to the waiting game.

waiting on a case number was told to call back same time frame " . I have to wait 3 weeks for the police report anyway so im not too bothered about waiting. I really should of ordered this report before I left for the US on this visit (doh!).
