I couldnt find a thread for may.

Just filled and received my NOA1 today. YAY! 11/05/2011.

Cant tell you how happy i even to have this because i tried to file back in Feb and my husband messed them up and it got lost lol. Anyway now its under the process. I hope may 2011 doesnt take as long as may/june/july 2010. But i have accepted the long wait now. Hoping to go out on visit for a few months this summer to break it up.

anyone around?

Any other May filers around?

Im going for a visit this summer for 2 and 1/2 months, I havent seen him in 5 months (and before that trip, it was 4 months) and im abit worried about getting turned away. I have never had a problem visiting my fiance, but now we are married and I have finished school.

Im hoping a letter from my employer, letter from volunteering, credit card statement and NO1 is going to be enough. Im also looking to enrol in another short term school course for September. Thing is I live at home with parents and employment is only casual work weekend work (although I wont volunteer that info). So I dont think the ties are that strong.

I am a May filer.

Filed May 04 and received electronic notification for NOA1 on MAy 6th.Not sure when the hard copy was sent due to post office issues in my area. Priority date May 5th.

From what i have seen in Vj's time lines and by playing around with the Receipt numbers in the USCIS website they are proccessing applications received in the begining of April.

Good luck to all of us. I need my spouse here. This wait and distance is killing me

Hello fellow May fillers. I am currently in the US visiting my husband on a 2 1/2 month visit, I had no Probs what so ever at customs at JFK in New york (lay over). I said im visting my husband, just waived me through. Just thought id mention it for anyone thinking of a visit to break the process up. Id recomend JFK as a point of entry.

I havent really been thinking about this, since im here it hasnt been on my mind. Hopefully when i return in sept it wont be too long before the NOA2.
