We need to cancel our K-1 Visa. Our Noa 2 arrived last week, i havent gotten package 3 yet.

How do i cancel this petition

09-13-10 got engaged <3

09-28-10 Sent I129-F Express

09-29-10 Delivered to Lewisville,TX but forwarded to Dallas

09-30-10 Delivered and Signed in Person in DALLAS

10-05-10 NOA 1

10-08-10 touched

10-11-10 touched

04-13-10 NOA 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04-14-10 MEDICAL

We need to cancel our K-1 Visa. Our Noa 2 arrived last week, i havent gotten package 3 yet.

How do i cancel this petition

The petitioner has to write a cancellation letter to NVC and one to the US Consulate of the Beneficiary's home country, the letter should be notarized.

NOA1 received on 12/30/08

Biometrics on 01/20/09

AOS interview on 04/30/09

EAD Card production ordered on 03/17/09

oh why need to cancel the petition?.. u waited that for so long... but anyways yes above poster is correct u need to send them a letter stating u are withdrawing the petition.. sigh... u will gonna wait for 6 mons. before an approved petition will be totally closed in USCIS... been there.. good luck and best wishes to u both... :innocent::star:

Sorry to hear YankeeLove --u waited long for yr approval . We have the same timeline . As many said just send a withdrawl request to USCIS . I wish you luck in future .

So you are assuming we are making the wrong conclusion by assuming youself. Funny.

Seems you know more than us, please enlighten us with your new found knowledge of this situation.

Why are we sorry to hear that? Because we followed this person's story, through the hardships they shared on the forums, and the pain and time it took them to get the NOA2 finally. It's sad in any event to see someone cancel the process after getting so far.

I did not mean it in the wrong way. Maybe they need to cancel for some unknown reason. What I meant to say is that maybe they are not breaking up and they will re-apply later or maybe they want to get married etc. Many of you sound as if they are breaking up.

We can not assuming anything until the OP gives more information. The op did not ask to hear "Sorry to hear that". The OP asked for an advice.
