hello everyone , i'm just new here in VJ, this is my first time to post :) my visa category is F2B, and we just finished our interview yesterday April 20, our interview went well i think... we answer all questions ask by the consul and then he told us.. " okay i will be recommending your approval , but there's a process ..." i don't know what it means.. then he asked us to wait to the lobby and wait until our number to be called.. i ask him if we are approve, he answered us "just wait in the lobby thank you".. so we went to the lobby and wait there.. when our number flash on the screen we went at window 74 and the lady there give us a white paper which i think is 221(g) form, so i asked her if what is this, she told us that it's normal to receive the form and almost all the applicant experienced it also, and there's no problem about it, i'm still not satisfied about her answer so i asked her how long she answered me "we don't give exact date on how long will the process, cause their waiting something in which will came from the US," so i said thanks, when we about to leave she ask me to fill-up a form,

i read it and it was 2GO form , she said fill it up with your name and address and contact number, and she said if i don't receive any calls from them, i will receive a visa from 2GO courier, my question is how long?? and in the 221(g) paper there's no checks in any boxes, only one box that indicating "WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US" has a check in the box.. is this normal? how long does it takes the process/review ? and they did not gave me my passports and documents.. are we denied or approve? kindly help me out here Sir / Ma'am......... thank you

Sounds like you were put into additional processing or 'AP'. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a year. Depends on how long they drag it out really.

really.. but in my case they did not ask me for additional documents, did they keep your passport too? there's no check in any boxes except for the " WAIT TILL YOU HEAR FROM US" Box at the bottom.. it's really hard to wait we don't know what happens next. we just have to pray and wait ....i guess

when they gave me the 221g paper they gave me my passport too and was told to send it together with my additional documents... and r u sure that there's nothing written in ur 221g? it says that "WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US: your case is requires further administrative processing/review. Wait for a letter telling you when to return to the Embassy with the documents marked above." DOCUMENTS MARKED ABOVE.

really there's no other check mark in my 221g form except for the "wait till you hear from us" at the bottom part of the form, and i'm quite sure , cause i ask the lady in the window if i need to submit some documents and she said none... i hope so it will arrive soon, we have just to pray and pray and wait and wait ;)) just like i said........

hi, any 2GO branch at the mall or anywhere. you just have to show them your 221g letter with the 2GO submission slip together with ur additional docs. then that's it... it's a free of charge
