we're far beyond the reaches of anything that can be done.

Bretton woods and the global economy made sure of that.

As soon as everything went 'global,' we lost all control.

Without completely restructuring our monetary system and bringing back manufacturing/self-sufficiency to the US, we are pretty much stuck.

We can't blame "wall street" investors when a lot of people who effect investment/the US economy, aren't even in the United States.
