Hope someone can advise on this: I will be filing for DCF in Ecuador. I-130 - I have been divorced 3 times, have the last 2, but no document from divorce in 1980. Will this be a problem? thanks, Joe

Im no expert but I would think you have to have a certified copy of the divorce decree from 1980. Can you contact the place that finalized the divorce? If it was here in USA, you can contact the local courthouse where it ws done and ask ify ou can order a certfifed divorce decree. Somtimes you can do it online or by phone but they will tell you what they need from you to prove you are the person you say etc....i dont know if that helps but maybe someone else will answer with better answers...my guess is if you didnt provide the decree that you would probably receive an RFE for it...
